I’m always so sad when I have to leave Bali. Even before I make it to the airport I begin planning my next trip back here. One day I won’t leave to go back home, but rather, will leave to just go visit the States.
I love the fact that so many people came to say goodbye to Stu and I. Really made us feel like we a couple of local boys and not just there on holiday.
The flight back to the States is a long one and we break it up in segments. It’s more cost effective that way actually, and I don’t go insane sitting on a plane for 22+ hours. Today we flew back to Thailand.
At the Airport in Bali though, Stu and I were seated across from a group of nursing students that were also traveling to Thailand for a summer internship program. They asked what we did for a living. Stu gave them an honest answer about himself. SinceI was traveling with a rare painting, I told them I was an artist and that an art dealer bought my painting for $1 million USD. And as a courtesy, I was hand delivering it. That rumor spread fast, even the flight attendants wanted to see this exotic piece of art.
Stu and I stopped by our favorite dive bar in Bangkok. If you ever visit Bangkok and want a good drink and meet great people, then definitely visit Too Easy! Tell them that Tim and Stu sent you. They will either serve you up fun drinks or stab your ass and steal you kidneys. Hahahaha!! Seriously, they are great people there. As for the fried duck beak! Delicious!!
